JULY
On July 1, 2026, I learned that an upcoming astrological “cradle” (often referred to as a “basket”) was a once-in-a-century alignment of Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, and formed a harmonious, stabilizing aspect. It was scheduled to occur between the 15th and the 24th of July. According to French astrologer André Barbault, who passed away in 2019, this rare configuration suggested a major period of collective reorganization and the dawn of a new cycle of civilization.
Since my birthday was on the 22nd, this alignment would happen as I transitioned from my Judgement to The World tarot year. What was strange to me was that if I turned my astrology chart on its side, a similar basket or cradle appeared, involving my MC, Mercury, Pluto, and Neptune, which stayed with me throughout my entire life.
For this reason, I kept a close watch on these dates to see if anything significant happened.

Madonna released her album, Confessions II, on June 3, 2026, and the sun responded the following day with a major solar flare measuring X1.3 at 4:41 EST.

That evening, I discovered the following video on YouTube.

I returned to the sacred tree of knowledge on July 7, 2026, for another brief visit and added another video that I discovered on July 4.

I repeated the same ritual on July 9, 2026. While looking into the portal, I wondered if any additional knowledge would come directly to me before the last day of Judgement. I added the third and final video discovered on July 4.

While quietly riding my bicycle around the lake on July 11, 2026, I saw the hawk sitting on top of the light pole again. The message: more waiting. I concluded that with just ten days to go, it was best to let the year finish off quietly and peacefully.
In the course of writing this story, it wasn’t hard to see that the world had changed. When taking a drive at night, my car’s windshield was no longer covered in dead bugs, and fireflies were disappearing rapidly, while ticks and mosquitoes had taken over. Food no longer tasted the same and was less nutritious. Summer nights no longer cooled down, and the sun felt more intense/dangerous. Northern lights appeared further south, and the night sky was less visible. There was more noise in the world as silence seemed to disappear. Time moved more quickly, and there was less downtime.
Earlier in the year, I purchased a lighted star to place outside my apartment next to the front door. After it was delivered, I learned that it was too big for the space. Instead of returning it, I chose to hang it on the shed beside my flower garden.
I rotated the sun face from the previous year to the west side of the shed and hung the star on the north side. Sunflower seeds from the previous year took root and grew over ten feet tall. Two gnomes watched over the garden.

In addition to everything outlined in the last couple of chapters, I also focused a lot of my energy on family and home. Aside from the house I grew up in, this was the first home with a permanent feel to it in over thirty years, so I poured a lot of my creativity into it.
I experienced a tremendous amount of peace with my family, something I had not encountered since before coming out in the early 1980s. My brothers, their wives, my nieces, nephews, and I got along so well. All that was missing in my life was a partner, but I was just fine being single.
With all of the said, I took a moment to ask the question: What did the last year of my adventure have in store for me? Was I ready for The World?
