If you’re following along with The 72 Names Of God book,
please turn to this page and read the true meaning behind this meditation.
Upon waking, I meditated for the first angel, Time Travel. Facing east, I did this meditation for twenty minutes.
While meditating on this angel’s name, I heard the call of a crow and then a seagull right outside my vehicle.
I thought it was worth mentioning that Crow offered the following wisdom: ancestors, ethics, no fear in darkness, shapeshifter, working in darkness.
And Sea Gull offered these messages:
- messengers,
- deities,
- friendship,
- seen from above.
During the meditation, I also recalled a dream from the night before about someone telling me that my heart had some problem or illness. I wasn’t sure if this was a physical illness or an emotional illness. Once I completed my meditation, I proceeded with my day.
My first stop was Starbucks. My friend, Joe, had gifted me a $312.00 gift card from Starbucks©, a $312.00 gift card from Ruby Tuesdays©, a $312.00 gift card from Panera Bread©, and a $320.00 gift card from Outback Steakhouse© to help support my journey. I was so grateful for his generosity. The gift cards were such a tremendous blessing. I knew they would play a significant role in guiding me on my journey.
On my first morning, I treated myself to a strawberry smoothie with skim milk from Starbucks. Thanks, Joe!
After working online, I entered my van and headed towards Augusta, Georgia.
I arrived in Augusta an hour and a half later. I found a Ruby Tuesday for a bite to eat. Upon my arrival in Augusta, I found myself on the 33rd Parallel, 33° 30′ to be exact.
After lunch, I headed across the street to Gold’s Gym. I purchased a 24-hour pass to give me a place to shower and to provide me with a place to exercise, and get my heart rate up. At 50, I had to be careful not to spend every day driving on the highway and working on my computer in Internet cafes. I had to stay active, too.
In the late afternoon, I stayed true to my word and drove to downtown Augusta to take a stroll down the shaded sidewalks of the riverwalk that lined the Savannah River.
I took the following photos.
I spent the rest of the evening at Panera Bread working on the Internet, putting in some hours for my freelance gig with the ©National Park Service, and working on my journal. I returned to Gold’s Gym for a shower and slept in my van in the gym’s parking lot. Day 1 of my 72 Days of Angel’s journey was behind me.
