I departed Phoenix around noon and headed straight for the Painted Rock Petroglyph Site, located northwest of Theba, Arizona, approximately two hours southwest of Phoenix. This particular site was located precisely on the 33°01’22.08″ parallel.

As I turned off Interstate 8 onto Rocky Point Road, I noticed that I was beginning to feel a little nauseous. The feeling reminded me of the dizziness I had experienced while visiting the Three Rivers Petroglyph site on Day 12.

I didn’t mention it in Day 12 of my journal, but the Three Rivers Petroglyph site was located on the 33°21’14.4″ parallel. I found this very interesting because my special numbers 1, 2, and 3 were included in the positions of both sites, and both sites contained the same type of petroglyphs.
After I turned into the park…
I drove into the parking lot, parked my van, paid my $2.00 entry fee, and began exploring the site. I didn’t notice any wildlife, but a mosquito buzzed my ear as I took the following photo. Mosquito offers the following message:
- taking energy within,
- controlling the flow of energy.
This message suggested that I had absorbed some energy at both locations, which caused nausea and dizziness. Perhaps, I thought, it was some enlightenment or wisdom. At least, I hoped so. I continued taking photographs as I walked around the park and was amazed at the number of carvings. There were too many to photograph.
While I continued my walk around the park, I walked past the one, single tree on the entire site. I called this tree The Tree of Death and Rebirth.
After locating east, I prepared to begin my Fertility invocation, which officially took place between 3:08 and 3:28 PM.
Since I was close to visiting all of the sites on the 33rd Parallel in the United States, and only on day 18 of a 72-day journey, I used the Fertility meditation to ask for new ideas on how to continue my trip once I finished visiting the following two sites.
I completed my meditation and returned to the petroglyphs to find a place for the stone I had brought from Tonto National Monument.
I knew I had found the perfect location when I saw the following image of a hand. I placed the small stone at the tip of the thumb of the carving…
And I then noticed the following group of stones at the top of the petroglyph mound.
The triangular rock at the bottom appeared to be pointing downward, bringing me to the stone I would carry to my next destination.
Suddenly, a fly buzzed my ear, offering the following messages:
- transformation,
- multivision,
- surviving.
- Recycling waste.
I knew I was on the right track. Extremely happy with my visit, I decided it was time to go. After a small, private ceremony at this beautiful, majestic Saguaro…
I headed back to the McDonald’s in Gila Bend, Arizona, to work on my journal and complete the personalized The Book Of Your Life ebook for Marshall, the first person to respond to the 72 Days of Angels survey. After I emailed Marshall his 70-page ebook, I headed to Tonopah, Arizona, to meet Ricardo at the hot springs for a night of camping.
As I approached Tonopah, I said goodbye to yet another day of my journey and declared the following image.
Once I reached the campground, I was assigned the “Stone Circle” campsite. Considering that I had used various stones throughout my journal, I thought this was interesting.
After an hour or so of soaking in the hot springs and spending time with Ricardo, I went to bed around 10:30 PM.
