March 16, 2012
I woke up at 8:30 AM after sleeping for ten straight hours. After stretching and yawning, I exited my van to discover that a thin layer of pine pollen had coated the top of my van during the night. I had parked directly beneath a large pine tree. I was highly allergic to pine pollen. It was no wonder I slept for ten hours.
I was extremely hungry, so I decided to hold off on my morning meditation until I ate breakfast. I made my way across the street to a fast-food restaurant. I had pancakes, grits, and unsweetened iced tea. I returned to the campground and worked on my computer until 11:30 AM. Walmart called to tell me that my new tire had arrived.
After packing up my van, I took a few moments to visit the Noccalula Falls and do my morning meditation. I crossed the bridge at the top of the falls and took the following photograph. Just beyond the bridge was a 90-foot drop.
I made my way around to the side of the falls, where I discovered a monument dedicated to the town’s Freemasons. The monument had a giant white pyramid and three stone chairs. In the center of these four structures was a fifth structure that resembled an altar. I couldn’t help but wonder if the Freemason Ritual Site was why I had been led to this campground. It had a mysterious, strange feel to it. Was the site a connection to the 33rd Parallel?
After examining the site, I took a photograph of Noccalula Falls.
Noccalula Falls, which drops into the Black Creek ravine, is marked with a bronze statue of Cherokee princess Noccalula, who, according to local legends, plunged to her death after being ordered by her father to marry a man she didn’t love.
It reminded me of the legend surrounding Multnomah Falls in Oregon:
“There was a terrible sickness that threatened lives of the Multnomah people. An old medicine man revealed that the sickness had been foretold but that it would pass if a maiden descendant of a tribal chief would throw herself from a high cliff above the big river and onto the rocks below. The chief was not willing to sacrifice any of the princesses, so he elected to allow the sickness to run its course. When the Chief’s daughter saw that the sickness had affected her lover, she went up to the top of the cliff and threw herself to the rocks below. Upon her death, the sickness immediately began to leave the affected people. Now, when the breeze blows through the water, a silvery stream separates from the upper falls. The misty stream fashions a form of the maiden, a token of the “Great Spirit’s” acceptance of her sacrifice.”
I found both of these so-called “legends” interesting. However, considering the legend surrounding the Noccalula Falls, I thought my daily meditation, Eliminating Negative Thoughts, was entirely appropriate. Perhaps the Chief’s daughter should have done this meditation before she jumped off the cliff.
I did my meditation between 12:12 and 12:32 PM.
Once I completed the meditation, I went to Walmart to replace my spare tire.
Upon my arrival, I told the attendant how difficult it was to change out the flat and asked that after he replaced the spare, he please check the torque on all the lug nuts on all the tires. He promised to inspect everything thoroughly. I left the van with him and went into the main section of the store to shop for apples, walnuts, and bananas.
I returned to the tire center an hour later, and the attendant informed me that he had trouble removing the lug nuts on the other tires. He reset the torque on all the lug nuts, checked the air pressure on all the tires, and said I was ready to go. I was extremely grateful to him for his service.
After spending $150.00, I left Walmart and drove to Ruby Tuesday to have lunch and to take it easy for a few hours. I put in some computer hours with the National Park Service and took some time to review my numerology report.
When I first read this report in 2011, I began to understand why, in the fall of 2004, I left my life in Washington, DC, and headed to southern Florida at the age of 43.
The following spring, I left Florida and moved to Portland, Oregon. Two years after moving to Portland, I moved to Denver, Colorado, and then back to Portland, Oregon, two years after that.
In 2010, I set out on my 72 Days of God journey, which took me from the Oregon coast to North Carolina, back to Oregon, and then to Phoenix, Arizona. I left Phoenix in December 2011, spent three months in North Carolina, and was now on another adventure back to the West Coast. At the age of 50, I showed no signs of slowing down.
Here’s my numerology forecast:
PERIOD: 45-53 YEARS OF AGE | CYCLE No. 5 – These people will probably not succeed to make use of the chances that are offered to them. Their life will be full of surprises and changes. They will also travel a lot. They do not like to be controlled in any way and they appear not very responsible. They direct their energy towards meeting new people and discovering new places and interests. They are great adventurers and they like to change their place of residence. Their financial situation changes very often like their love life. They do not want to have a serious relationship. This time is a volatile period for them, and they will have many difficulties in securing their future. They often change their school, faculty, friends as well as the environment. They live by their own rules. Regarding their health, they should take care of their respiratory system and extremities.
PERIOD: 45-53 YEARS OF AGE | CYCLE No. 1 – The people with this life cycle number are meant to become independent and self-reliant. This means that they will have to resist and avoid constant temptations. The other people always expect them to be courageous and inventive. However, this continuous support of others is not equally returned to them. They learn about life on their own, and they go through life alone. They have to be ready for hard work and great effort in life without feeling much compassion. They usually have to be prepared ”to take over the command” and to lead others without being selfish, arrogant, stubborn and introverted. They will encounter many obstacles in life, and they have to be careful about what they wish for to be able to realize it.
They must have a strong will to achieve the desired position, and they also have to learn to adapt to stressful situations and circumstances. In this way, they will grow stronger and reveal their hidden abilities, especially the organizational ability and faith in themselves. They will develop themselves as leaders in every sense. They will be aware of the power they possess with the help of which they will have chances for many significant accomplishments in life. If they are brave enough, they will achieve something amazing, and their hard work will almost certainly pay off. There are no pleasures without hard work. They need to be righteous, generous and adaptable.

After I finished reviewing my numerology report, I took a moment to email the Walmart attendant’s supervisor to inform her of the excellent service provided. I wanted to ensure his service and dedication were recognized and rewarded. I sent that email and then spent the rest of the evening hanging out in Gadsden and talking to friends on the phone.
A rainstorm passed through town around 9:30 PM and washed all of the pine pollen off of my van. I returned to the campground and went to bed around 10:30, excited about the next day.
