In the early afternoon, I headed to the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85253, to walk its labyrinth and invoke the “No Guilt” angel.
The center and the labyrinth was located at the 33°32’2.4″ Parallel.
Upon arrival, I parked my van and walked to the labyrinth. During my walk, I saw several desert quail. Quail offers the following wisdom, which was timely considering some of the things I had experienced the week before:
- facing hard times,
- finding peaceful solutions,
- and blending in.
Once I reached the entrance of the labyrinth, I stopped to pray and then proceeded to walk the path towards the center.
Once I made it into the center, I was led by the spirit to tear a corner from the “No Guilt” page in my 72 Names of God book and leave it as an offering to someone who would be walking the labyrinth later. The paper read, “72 Names of God | www.72.com.”
After sending out a prayer of non-judgment and Unconditional Love throughout the center and surrounding area, I was also inspired to leave behind one of my business cards in hopes that it would lead to a fascinating connection with someone I’d never met.
As the temperature approached 100 degrees, I walked the labyrinth back toward its entrance and then to a shaded bench under a nearby tree.
As soon as I sat down, I saw a nuthatch perch overhead. Nuthatch offered the following message:
- ideas into action,
- speaking in large groups,
- connection to the earth.
See if you can locate this bird in the tree.
I began the “No Guilt” invocation at precisely 1:26 PM. Facing east, I performed this meditation between 1:26 and 1:46 PM.
Once my meditation was complete, I left the center and headed home, stopping to grab some lunch. That evening, Ricardo and I returned to the Franciscan Renewal Center to attend a healing ceremony. That night, after returning home, I prayed that my relationship with Ricardo would heal and that he and I could remain very close friends once he moved to San Francisco. At this point, I had no idea where I would end up once he left for California. I prayed for guidance.
