After straightening up the house and doing a couple of loads of laundry, I packed up my van and pulled out of the driveway at approximately 1:30 PM. A friend of Ahote and Tuwa had asked me to stop by her house on the way out of town to pick up a few items to take to Hopi, so I didn’t leave Phoenix until 2:15 PM.
One hundred and seventy-five days into my 72 Days of Angel’s journey, I finally made it to meditation No. 54 – The Death of Death. This meditation was one of my favorite Kabbalah meditations.
My destination for the day was a return to Montezuma’s Well.
My drive was pretty uneventful. I spent most of my time worrying about how I would pay for my trip. My finances were getting low again, and Ricardo’s moving to San Francisco at the end of the month made my future housing situation precarious. All I knew was that my journey was ending, and I was willing to sacrifice what little money I had to see it through.
“Our sharing actions usually have strings attached as well. In Kabbalah, this is not considered unconditional sharing. True sharing is nameless, so the giver and the receiver have no idea who each other is. The giver gives, period. Givers derive pleasure from the unconditional anonymous act of pure sharing, expecting nothing in return. And this is when they receive everything!”
It was essential for my soul’s growth to share what little I had unconditionally with Ahote and Tuwa. Even so, I became very wary of doing this at times. Although I had already visited Montezuma’s Well twice during my journey, the first time on Day 23 and the second time on Day 33, I figured a third visit was to prepare me for my third visit with Ahote and Tuwa.
Montezuma’s Well
I arrived at the well at 4:15 PM. I walked down to the stream behind the well, removed my shoes and socks, and soaked my white feet in the fresh, healing water. I said a few prayers and then prepared for my mediation.
I invoked the “The Death of Death” angel between 4:26 and 4:46 PM.
Both messages were great reminders that I needed to keep my faith regarding my finances. I prayed that the angels heard me loud and clear as I continued marching. Once I completed my meditation, I headed back towards my van. I strolled, taking my time to soak in the energy of the autumn colors in the Arizona High Desert.
Spider offered the following medicine:
- wisdom,
- shapeshifting,
- creativity,
- inspiration, and
- patterns.
The Harvest
After returning to my van, I drove a few miles south to Camp Verde, Arizona, for refreshments and Internet time. While working on my journal in Starbucks, I noticed my favorite numbers staring me in the face.
This reassured me. After Starbucks closed, I drove to a Days Inn hotel across the street. I parked my van in the back parking lot and crawled into bed around 10:00 PM.
