April 3 thru May 10, 2012
After completing the first 21 days of my journey, I spent the next several weeks reconnecting with friends and associates. On April 7, 2012, the day after the full moon, I set up a booth and worked at my very first Spiritual Fair. During my time at the fair, I performed one healing and several Voyager Tarot/72 Names of God card readings. I had a lot of fun.
On April 9, I installed a rooftop air conditioning/heating unit in my van. A few days later, I had a very interesting dream.
Dream Number One – April 15, 2012: I dreamed of talking to my niece on my cell phone while walking out the back door of a house. “To see or use a cell phone in your dream indicates that you are receptive to new information. It also represents your mobility.” “To see a backdoor in your dream suggests that you must search harder to find an answer to your problem. Sometimes, the solution may not be obvious. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are trying to find shortcuts to do things.” Once outside, I heard the hooting of several owls. “To see an owl in your dream symbolizes wisdom, insight, magic, expanded awareness, and virtue. You are highly connected to your intuitive senses and psychic power. The owl is also synonymous with death, darkness, and the unconscious. Hearing an owl’s hoot in your dream denotes disappointment and death. Your unconscious mind may be trying to get your attention.” I walked around to the front of the house to see if I could locate the owls when I suddenly came face-to-face with a hawk sitting on a tree branch. “To see a hawk in your dream denotes that suspicions are lurking around you and your activities. You need to proceed with caution. Alternatively, a hawk symbolizes insight. Consider the phrase “hawk’s eye” to mean that you need to keep a close watch on someone or some situation.” I then noticed an older hawk sitting higher up in a nearby tree. I felt like a spirit guide had visited me when I woke up. The dream stayed with me for the rest of the day. I couldn’t help but wonder if the dream was perhaps offering additional insight as to what I should do next on my journey.
Dream Number Two – April 16, 2012: In this dream, I watched over a scorpion that was in a small birdcage. “To see a scorpion in your dream represents a situation in your waking life which may be painful or hurtful. It also indicates negative feelings, “stinging” remarks, bitter words, and negative thoughts being expressed or aimed against you. The scorpion is also a symbol of death and rebirth. You need to eliminate the old and make room for something new.” “To dream that you are putting a wild animal into a cage signifies that you will succeed in overcoming your rivals and fears. It symbolizes your ability to control your animalistic rages and anger.” Suddenly, in my dream, I dropped the cage, which created an opening, and a large lizard rushed in and ate the scorpion. “To see a lizard in your dream signifies your primal instincts and reactions toward sex, food, etc., and your anxieties toward these feelings. The lizard may also be representative of a person who you view as cold-blooded, fearful, or thick-skinned. On a more positive note, the lizard symbolizes emerging creativity, renewal, and revitalization. It may suggest that you are well-grounded.” After reflecting profoundly on the dream, I felt like some new experience or new beginning was just around the corner for me.
On the evening of April 16, I once again invoked “The Power of Prosperity” angel, asking for enough money to continue my journey.
Facing east, I performed the meditation between 5:10 and 5:30 PM.
A few days later, on the New Moon of April 21, 2012, I invoked my guardian angels and spirit guides to ask them what I should focus on between the New Moon and the Full Moon of May 5. I shuffled my 72 Names of God meditation cards, went into deep thought, and asked for insight. That’s when I chose the Number 10: Looks Can Kill Protection From The Evil Eye.
I then spent the next 20 minutes invoking this angel to free myself from others’ envy and create a shield of protection for myself. During my meditation, which took place between 7:46 PM and 8:06 PM, I prayed for guidance, inspiration, wisdom, enlightenment, and continued support and protection from the Universe.
The following night, I dreamed that a hawk was riding on the back of an eagle, and the two birds came flying over the top of a nearby hill from the north. “To see an eagle in your dream symbolizes nobility, pride, fierceness, freedom, superiority, courage, and powerful intellectual ability. It also represents self-renewal and your connection with your spirituality. You will struggle fiercely and courageously to realize your highest ambitions and greatest desires”. “To see a hawk in your dream denotes that suspicions are lurking around you and your activities. You need to proceed with caution. Alternatively, a hawk symbolizes insight. Consider the phrase “hawk’s eye” to mean that you need to closely watch someone or some situation.” In my dream, both birds drifted by me to my east and continued to fly together until they reached an area south of where I was standing. At that point they separated; the eagle turned back towards the east and made a full circle back towards the hill. The hawk turned towards the west, then a quick circle back towards the east, and then took a nose dive straight for me, flying directly over my head. Both birds disappeared together behind the hill to my north. – After reflecting on the dream, I should head north for the next stage of my journey.
This was confirmed the following day when Ricardo and I drove north to Sedona, Arizona. After spending most of the day exploring nature, we decided to stop in Sedona for a bite to eat and some shopping. As we approached Sedona, we could see the Chapel of the Holy Cross, so we decided to stop in for a brief visit.
As we exited the chapel, I took the following photo of a cloud coming over the northern edge of a nearby mountain. It reminded me of my dream about the eagle and the hawk the night before. To me, the cloud looked like a spirit.
On April 26, 2012, I had a very distinct dream in which I was lying on what felt like a table or a very uncomfortable bed. My view from this bed allowed me to see into an adjacent room through a large window. From this bed, I was able to see the backs of several men who appeared to be performing on stage. One of the men came into my room dressed in nothing more than a loincloth. He appeared to be approximately ten feet tall. He lay on the table next to me and tried to get me to lie next to him. When I refused, he left the room. When I woke up from my dream, I wondered if the giant in my dream was a Sumerian.
Several nights later, on April 30, I dreamed two snakes crawled out of my camera.
Both dreams were quite memorable.
As my mind and soul absorbed this information, it resonated at a profound, spiritual level, but I was still at a loss as to what this meant. Why was I led to take this journey? What was the purpose of the dreams?
While lunching with a friend in Scottsdale, two large hawks circled in the sky to our west. As both hawks circled overhead, I noticed that they slowly drifted north. This sighting was another sign telling me that I should head north when I resumed my journey.
My dreams, the sightings, the spirit cloud, something or someone was calling me north.
That evening, Ricardo and I attended a full moon fire ceremony to set new intentions for our lives. While walking around the grounds, I saw yet another hawk, this one flying in the direction of the north. This sighting told me that I should resume my journey very soon.
I ended the day at 11:18 PM by performing the “Diamond In The Rough” meditation. Facing east, I invoked this angel under a very bright moon between 11:30 and 11:50 PM.
The following evening, on May 5, I attended the Wesak Festival & Full Moon Meditation with friends at the Logo’s Center.
Wesak Meditation: “A celebration of the enlightened ones who lived before – such as the Buddha, the Christ, and Kuan Yin. It is also a celebration of each person’s enlightenment potential.

Two days later, on May 7, I was asked to create a web page to help raise money for a family who had lost two young children to a very rare disease. Their deaths were only three months apart. While I was sitting at my desk working on this project, a light bulb on the other side of my bedroom blew out. In the blink of an eye, the bright, blue light traveled across the room to where I was sitting before burning out and vanishing in mid-air. When this happened, I could feel the spirit of the oldest child.

On May 9, Phoenix experienced a very rare thunderstorm. This storm blew in from the northeast, which was very unusual. Almost all Phoenix storms typically approached from the south or southwest. As I ran outside to take part in the storm, I noticed that the storm clouds directly overhead appeared to create an opening in the sky. Using my cell phone, I took the following photograph.
Coupled with my dream of the eagle and the hawk flying in from the north, which had taken place several weeks back under the new moon of April 21, I knew this storm was another sign that it was time to load up my van and resume my journey. The Thunder Gods were calling me. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was being called to head north into Navajo/Hopi country. Honoring this message, I resumed my journey on May 11, 2012.
I had no idea what came next.
