Day 1 – 43: Defying Gravity
Day 2 – 3: Miracle Making
Day 3 – 46: Absolute Certainty
Judging from my first three meditations on this particular journey, “Defying Gravity,” “Miracle Making,” and “Absolute Certainty,” I had the sense that another transition was taking place. I was beginning to believe that my so-called “death” was not a physical death after all.
However, I continued to live like I was dying, making myself take risks that I usually wouldn’t consider otherwise. After I completed my morning meditation above I logged into my computer and read my astrology forecast. Coupled with my Kabbalah meditation, my morning was off to an exciting start.
I left Red Wing, Minnesota, around 7:30 AM and drove into Minneapolis. I stopped in for a quick workout and afterward grabbed a bite. I then hit Interstate 94 and headed north toward Fargo, North Dakota. As soon as I began my drive through the countryside, I could only smile when a hawk appeared on the west side of the interstate. Approximately two hours later, another hawk appeared on the east side of the interstate. And just as I pulled into Fargo, another hawk made itself known.
This visit was terrific because I set different intentions during my drive through western Minnesota. The hawk sightings confirmed that I was thinking all the right thoughts as I headed in the right direction.
Combining the Kabbalah meditation, astrology forecast, and the sighting of the hawks, I could sense a metaphysical shift. I was entirely sure of it. The change remained a mystery, but I was highly optimistic that it was positive.
After I arrived in Fargo, I found a campground and checked into my campsite. After settling in for the evening, I rode a bike for about an hour and then drove around Fargo. I visited the various parks around the downtown area. I’d never seen so many city parks in a small town. It was quite lovely. It was very refreshing.
“Fargo” has always been one of my favorite movies, so I have wondered about the town. I never imagined visiting a town so far north, but since life had to lead me here and I was in town for the night, I made the most of it. I wasn’t disappointed.

worked on my journal that evening in my crowded, sold-out campground. Since I was without shower facilities, I took a sponge bath in the restroom and went to bed. It was an exciting Saturday night! Ha!
As I crawled into the back of my truck, I noticed a perfect half-moon floating in the night sky.
Coincidentally, Fargo was halfway between my hometown in North Carolina and Portland, Oregon.
