At 5:30 in the morning I was jolted out of my sleep when all of the interior lights in my van suddenly came on, and all of the doors suddenly unlocked. At first, I thought I had rolled over the remote and accidentally hit the unlock button, but the remote was in the console in the front of the van. I was utterly dumbfounded as to how all of this happened.
I grabbed the remote, hit the lock button, and went back to sleep. I woke again at 7:06 AM to a cloudy, overcast morning.
After having breakfast and publishing Day 39 of my journal, I headed north on Interstate 5 back towards Laguna Niguel. At this point, I had no idea where I was going for the day. I stopped at Panera Bread in San Juan Capistrano for a bite of lunch and got online to figure out my next destination.
At this point, my trip to California began to take shape. I decided my next destination would be the Point Fermin Lighthouse, located at 807 West Paseo Del Mar, Los Angeles, California. Once I finished my lunch, I headed north on Interstate 405 toward Long Beach. For the next hour or so, I saw nothing but Interstate.
The drive was very unattractive and boring. Once I arrived in Long Beach, California, I headed south on Interstate 710. I crossed one bridge…
And then another…
until I finally arrived at the Point Fermin Lighthouse around 1:00 PM. At this point, I resided on the 33°42′ Parallel in Los Angeles, California, otherwise known as the City of Angels.

As I took the keys out of the ignition, I noticed the numbers 1, 2, and 3 on my van’s odometer. At this point, I knew that I had chosen the right location for my meditation.
I got all of my things together, locked up my van, and began walking around the park. As I was walking along the edge of the ocean, a Seagull appeared and hovered directly overhead, no more than 10 feet above me.
Seagulls offered the following medicine:
- friends,
- being responsible,
- deities,
- messengers,
- and seeing from above.
Considering that Seagull meant “Communication with deities,” I could instantly feel Christ’s Consciousness around me mostly because of the colors in the following photograph.
As I continued my walk, I came upon the magnificent Point Fermin Lighthouse. It was stunning.
I then walked past a magnificent tree…
and kept walking along the edge of the park until I found a comfortable spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I sat down and invoked the “Speaking The Right Words” angel between 1:32 and 1:52 PM.
Once I completed my meditation, I left the park and headed back towards Laguna Niguel for the evening. As I pulled away from the park in my van, I drove past Angel’s Gate Park. It suddenly dawned on me that I was driving a van through Angel’s Gate Park in the City of Angels with a sign that read 72DAYSOFANGELS.com. The moment was perfect!
I eventually returned to Laguna Niguel and spent the evening working out at my gym, having dinner, and texting friends. I began working on my journal around 6:30 PM, published it around 8:45 PM, and went to bed around 9:00 PM.
