After breakfast and after publishing Day 38 of my journal I made another attempt to perform one of my meditations at the Self-Realization Fellowship Center. I arrived at noon, parked my van a block away from the visitor’s center, and walked over to the meditation garden.
Upon my arrival, I was overcome with a sense of peace and awe.
The garden had a very peaceful energy about it. While I walked around searching for a place to meditate, I noticed a security guard positioned in the center of the garden, keeping a close eye on everyone. I couldn’t help but wonder what had happened in the past to make it necessary to have a security guard in the garden. Once I found the perfect spot to meditate, I sat down and began my “Diamond In The Rough” angel invocation.
Located on the 33°02’13.92″ Parallel, I invoked this angel between 12:13 and 12:33 PM.

Once I completed the meditation, I attempted to lie down on the bench to straighten out my back. Before I could even lower my head on the seat, the security guard rushed over and asked me to sit up. Lying down in the garden was not allowed. Respectfully, I sat back up and took a few more minutes to enjoy the garden’s peace.
I spent the rest of the day exploring Encinitas and figuring out my next destination. I went to bed that night around 10:30 PM.
