May 23 thru June 3, 2012
The following day, I began to reflect on my “Vision Quest” through northern Arizona and New Mexico. That’s when it started to sink in that I had experienced something pretty amazing. Not only did I have the opportunity to visit some fantastic ruins, but I also discovered that I was born on the exact parallel of the Hopi Village of Moenkopi.

I also had the opportunity to experience an extremely rare event during my visit to Hopi:
“On May 20, 2012, for the first time in 26,000 years, the Sun and Moon and the constellation responsible for our spiritual evolution and ascension, the mystic Pleiades, aligned in a spectacular, full Annular Solar Eclipse. In the Pleiades Constellation, a rare solar eclipse alignment occurred between the Earth, the Sun, and our central Sun, Alcyone.”
I had no idea at the time that the eclipse was that rare. While going through all of my photographs, I came across a photo that Tuwa had taken of me next to the fire during the eclipse.
While searching online to see if there were any connections between the eclipse and the Hopi, I came across the following:
“That time is not far off. It will come when the Saquasohuh (Blue Star) Kachina dances in the plaza and removes his mask. He represents a blue star, far off yet invisible, which will appear soon. The time is foretold by a song sung during the Wuwuchim ceremony. It was sung in 1914, just before World War I, and again in 1940, before World War II, describing the disunity, corruption, and hatred contaminating Hopi rituals, which were followed by the same evils spreading over the world. This same song was sung in 1961 during the Wuwuchim ceremony.” “It is said that after many years the elder brother might change the color of his skin, but his hair will remain black. He will have the ability to write, and he will be the only person able to read the Tiponi. The transformed elder brother, the Lost White Brother, will wear a red cloak or cap, similar to the pattern on the back of a horned toad. He will bring no religion but his own and will bring with him the Tiponi tablets. – Since I was wearing a red hat and the edges of the brim were tattered and torn like that of a horned toad, and since I was not religious, this grabbed my attention. I did not, however, have the Tiponi tablets in my possession.
Here was another Hopi and Jewish Kabbalah Prophecy: “This work is explained in Hopi prophecy as the coming of the elder white bearded brother and his two helpers (each a large population of people) which would help the indigenous Hopi complete their work of healing the Earth and her people.” I brought with me Kabbalah’s The 72 Names of God meditations, and I did have a white beard, but I did not have two large groups of people following me. (I had no real sense of how many people were following my journey online. I suspected very little.)
While some critical details outlined in the prophecies didn’t exactly fit, I couldn’t help but feel a connection. Did these connections explain why I was led to take this journey in the first place?
As I continued to research the May 20, 2012 eclipse, I discovered that the event had been predicted in a mysterious crop circle on my birthday the previous year. The crop circle showed ten pyramids with five levels, an eclipsed sun in the center, and 17 feathers around the sun. These feathers represented the days between the May 20 eclipse and the upcoming June 6, 2012, Venus transit across the Sun.

At this point in my journey, I had no insight into where I should go or what I should do next. After paying all my bills at the end of May 2012, I was down to just $200.00, so my options were minimal. I went to my dreams for answers, hoping they would offer clarity or direction, but even my nighttime musings did not guide me.
On the morning of May 30, 2012, I decided to choose a 72 Names of God card in hopes of gaining some additional insight into what I should do next. After shuffling the cards, I randomly chose the “Miracle Making” meditation. I knew then that I was supposed to invoke this angel to awaken some miracle. That miracle, I thought, would offer the guidance I sought. I performed the invocation between 11:03 and 11:23 PM.
Two days later, as I left the house, I noticed two butterflies flying across the yard in unison. Butterfly brings the following message:
- magic,
- transformation,
- reincarnation,
- strong winds.
My initial reaction was that some change was about to take place involving me and someone else. Later in the day, I saw two hummingbirds playing with one another and recalled the pair of butterflies. Two days after my butterfly sighting, on June 3, while doing some work in the yard, the two butterflies returned. After grabbing my camera, I took the following photographs as the two butterflies flew around me. This dance went on for at least fifteen minutes:
This pair of butterflies made me think about the two Crows that visited me at the Aztec Ruins on Day 27 and again at Chaco Canyon on Day 28. These sightings had taken place before I ever met Ahote and Tuwa. And then there was that dream on Day 27, a few days before I met them.
I had a dream that I was having a conversation with a couple, a man and a woman. As the couple was about to leave, the woman grabbed me from behind, wrapped her arms around me and placed her hands on my front pelvic hip bones. Although this tickled me to the point of laughter, she would not release her hands. She said she was sending me power and that I should bear it for as long as possible. This energy transfer lasted a few minutes, and the dream ended abruptly.
All of this made me think about my time with Ahote and Tuwa. I kept all of this in the back of my mind as I embarked on the next three days of my journey.
