JULY
July 2025 began with a new video by Thomas O. Mills titled Serpent Mound and the Moon: A Forgotten Message in the Sky.
After watching the video, I initiated a conversation with Mr. Mills as follows.
Me: Thank you for this video. I’ve been watching both seasons of Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix, which features a couple of episodes about Serpent Mound. Your video goes into greater depth when covering the moon phases. I also found a video here on YouTube that states Serpent Mound sits in a meteor impact crater. Coupled with your video and Ancient Apocalypse episodes, I wonder if Serpent Mound is also a warning about possible future meteor impacts. I would love to hear your opinion on this at some point. Thanks again for your wisdom. I love your videos.
Mr. Mills: Thanks for taking a look. The meteor that struck Earth near Winslow, Arizona, happened 50,000 years ago called Meteor Crater. Perhaps that is the same time that the one struck Ohio? If so, it would fit the Hopi Creation Story timeline: 50,000 years ago fire, 25,000 years ago an ice age, then a flood, the last time the ice melted 12,500 years ago, setting up our present climate. Thanks again for your comment. – tom
My reply: That’s so interesting. I’ve often wondered how much time passed between each of the 4 worlds mentioned by the Hopi. Wonder when we’re due to enter the 5th world? Or are we overdue?
Mr. Mills: The Hopi talk about a string of time – like the constellations – a full shift would take 25,920 years, but they say that the last shift came early, the last time the polar ice caps melted, and there was a great flood. This event occurred approximately 12,500 years ago, known as the Younger Dryas. This event will occur again in the year 2100 on March 20th, if the date is correct. The only reason for the constellations is to show us our location in space.
Taking inspiration from his video, the outline of Greenfield Lake suddenly took on a completely new meaning. This meaning was much more in line with my adventure and my connection to Hopi.
And The Fourth Turning now became a double entendre. The 84-year Uranus/Gemini cycle and the Fourth Hopi World transiting into the Fifth. I had to wonder if both were the same.
Vision Quest No. 1 – July 2, 2025 – I waited several hours to embark on my first Vision Quest of July. It had been raining consistently most of the evening, and so I had to wait for a break in the clouds. That break happened around 9 PM.
It was still raining a little when I left the house, and large drops of water were falling from the trees as I passed under them. The road, the trees, everything was glistening. I passed a woman walking barefoot on the side of the street who yelled out to me and asked if I had a light. Racing to beat the next bout of rain, I yelled back, Nope, Sorry, and kept pedaling. I sent her light, but not the type she asked for. Keeping my eyes on the road, I paid very close attention to any large water puddles in the middle of the street to avoid them.
I quickly made my way around to the sacred tree. It was very dark, so I had to keep an eye out for snakes and creepy crawlers. After grounding myself and asking the tree for inspiration for my newly themed quest, I pushed off and continued around the lake. Unable to dodge it without having an accident, a soft tree branch brushed across my right eye as I rounded a dark corner. I laughed because I immediately understood its message; I now had the right vision regarding Rebis, the lake, and the Fourth Turning. I was on the right path. I made it home safely a few minutes later without incident.
Quest No. 2 – July 4 – I left the house about an hour before sunset. The one thing that stuck out to me the most on this quest was watching a squirrel desperately trying to carry an entire ear of dried corn across the street in front of me. As I approached the squirrel, it abandoned its task and dropped the ear of corn directly in my path. The corn reminded me of Hopi. Was this an offering?
I continued around the lake until I arrived at the sacred tree. Right before I pulled up to the tree, I stopped and took the following photograph of my shadow. The strange thing about this photograph is that it appears as though someone is standing beside me, and the light between the two of us resembles the Native American Sun symbol and the Sun Regeneration symbol for the Hopi. This also occurred during the Sirius Gateway Portal of 2025.
I was utterly amazed by the significance of this.
The major lunar standstill, a cycle related to the Moon’s orbit, peaks in 2024-2025, with observable effects extending for at least three years around these peak years. This cycle, occurring every 18.6 years, causes the Moon’s rising and setting positions on the horizon to reach their northernmost and southernmost extremes. The last peak was in 2006, and the next will be in approximately 2043.
