Judging from the morning’s meditation and considering the ritual that David and I performed the night before, the full moon’s energy was working its magic. I remained optimistic that this part of my journey was a significant transition. So far, so good.
The first email that I received was from my reading the day before.
She had written the following:
Good Morning, Chris,
I really appreciate the time you spent with me yesterday afternoon. I’m glad I met you. The charts you sent were so interesting—all very different from the relationships in my life, but all gave me clarity. Of course, my son’s chart was the most fun. It looks like he’s going to have an amazing couple of years coming up!
Last evening was comfortable. I’m glad I read before I went. Yes, he needed to be the sun and I was conscious of ‘allowing’ or maybe even ‘welcoming’ that. He was a very nice, interesting, amazingly intelligent guy. No fireworks (like fireworks!) but there’s something there that I need to have another look at.
I’m hoping your stay in Missoula is what you need to continue on your journey. All the best to you (nice website – lovely photos!),
A quick addendum…When we spoke about my mom and you drew the card that described her ‘speaking’ to me. It was full of flowers, orange, and pink and yellow flowers – well, this morning when I went to church and got up to the altar to receive communion – there on the altar were those same flowers! Whew, ‘Hi mom!!’.
I was grateful for her message. A few moment’s later I received the following email from, David:
It’s been great spending time together and getting to know each other. Thank you for helping me rediscover parts of myself that have been dormant for some time. I’ll check my email after my tennis match. My friend Jeanette is coming over for a BBQ around 6 or 7. I’m going to grill burgers. Would love for you to meet her if you’re still in town. If you head out, travel safely, and we will undoubtedly remain in contact. – David
I spent the morning updating my journal for the day before and trying to decide whether or not to stay in Missoula for one more day. Before I felt comfortable enough to hit the road again, I still had a few things to do—more than anything else, I needed to change the oil in my truck. I decided to stay until Monday afternoon.
I spent most of this day relaxing at my campground. I didn’t do much at all.
I reunited with David and several friends at his house later that evening. The four of us spent the evening talking, drinking wine, and watching the mountain behind David’s house change colors as the sun went down. It was a delightful evening.
Around 9:00 PM, one of David’s friends headed home while his other friend, Jeanette, asked me to do a reading for her. We started the reading around 9:00, and it lasted until 11:30. The three of us had a really good time getting to know one another through the cards. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them both. Jeanette’s energy was amazing, and she was quite a force to be around.
Jeanette headed home around 11:30 while David and I watched the moon rise over the mountain again. It was still just as beautiful as the night before.
Afterward, I returned to my campground, went to sleep, and prepared to head out for my next destination the following day.
