Date of Reading: December 27, 2010
Participant’s Name: Kathryn
Kathryn’s Birthdate: 7/7/1948
1) Do you believe in Unconditional Love? If so, based on which religion or spiritual practice? Yes. No Religion or spiritual practice has provided me with that belief. My life experience has informed me.
2) What does the concept of Unconditional Love mean to you personally? Radical acceptance of another human being as perfect and whole in their divine beingness, despite any evidence to the contrary that they may have no redeeming qualities or judgment by others perceptions. We are all beings on our learning paths within this sphere of experience on planet Earth.
3) Does your faith teach Unconditional Love? If so, please share that teaching here. No, this belief is based entirely on my own experience as a parent.
4) Are you political? How do you practice Unconditional Love in your politics? I try to hold judgment at arms length when listening to political discussions. I try to put myself in others view points and try to experience walking in their shoes.
5) Do you practice Unconditional Love in your everyday life? I try to. I of course am rarely successful. I get caught up in the drama of life in our physical existence….just like lots of other people do. If I can pause when triggered into feeling judgmental toward others and breathe, I can sometimes catch a glimmer of unconditional love for others. It does not happen as often as I would like…. but I need to remind myself that charity starts at home. What I need to really work on is unconditional love for myself.
6) Have you ever experienced Unconditional Love from another human being? If so, please share your experience here. No I have not experienced that unfortunately.
