Date of Reading: December 17, 2010
Participant’s Name: Charles
Charles’ Birthdate: 9/26/1958
1) Do you believe in Unconditional Love? If so, based on which religion or spiritual practice? Yes I believe in Unconditional Love… however do not believe humans actually experience it first hand… it is more of a concept than an actuality. A bit like ‘Knowing the Divine or God… we can only imagine what it might be like… not what it actually is. Our minds (ego) and our hearts (emotions) create too many filters for us to have true Unconditional Love. However the good news is that many strive for it… and that is a good thing. No Religious influence on this subject… and unconditional love is not demonstrated by any religion that I am aware of. Talked about maybe… Walked…? That’s another subject.
2) What does the concept of Unconditional Love mean to you personally? God/Goddess/All-That-Is represents Unconditional Love. We are loved so completely and unconditionally by the Divine that they allow us complete freedom of choice and free will… Everyone of us!
3) Does your faith teach Unconditional Love? If so, please share that teaching here. No particular Religion of Faith system that is taught… influenced by many… not necessarily from within the Religious/Faith communities.
4) Are you political? How do you practice Unconditional Love in your politics? Yes, fiscally conservative, socially liberal… I have not found a way to be Loving about the political process and/or government as of late. I continue to vote, however, feel more of a need to distance myself from the self-serving energy of both major political parties and the anger, fear, manipulation and greed that drives their agenda.
5) Do you practice Unconditional Love in your everyday life? No…I practice Love
6) Have you ever experienced Unconditional Love from another human being? If so, please share your experience here. No… I have experienced/shared deep and profound love, acceptance and intimacy. The journey to Unconditional Love is a bit like the Soul’s journey… there is no arriving at a final destination… it is the journey itself and the experiences a long the way that are important
That evening, Ricardo and I decided to install Christmas lights on the front of his house. To continue my journey and ensure it was represented properly, I wrote the word LOVE in lights on the roof.
