INTRODUCTION

My third Judgement year arrived on my 64th birthday.
As the intentional or incompetent Fourth Turning unraveled in the United States and on the world stage, I turned my attention to the Judgement card, where I thought about the image from April 13, 2010, Day 56 of 72 Days of God. That image, taken fifteen years earlier, reminded me of a Phoenix rising from the ashes—a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, which complemented the Judgement card perfectly.

Then I was reminded of the vision of the Thunderbird that appeared thirteen years earlier on the morning of May 15, 2012, Day 26 of the 72 Days of Angel.
In Hopi culture, the Thunderbird (Kwakwantiwa) is a powerful spirit or deity associated with thunder, lightning, and rain, often depicted as a large bird. It is a significant symbol in Hopi cosmology and art, representing natural forces and spiritual power. The Thunderbird is not a singular entity but rather a type of spirit or class of beings, with various manifestations and roles in different stories and ceremonies.

And in July 2025, during the Year of the Dragon in Chinese Astrology, I lived by a lake that mirrored the same imagery. I was born in the year of the Golden Ox in Chinese Astrology, as outlined by the lake as well. And according to Kabbalah, we all struggle with the Golden Ox. And then there was The Rebis.

My odyssey of self-discovery and struggling with both the inner and outer aspects of life, both locally and globally, continued.
